Last month, the FBI warned that hacker attacks on law firms were increasing.
Specifically, the Feds noticed a rise in phishing emails with malicious
attachments: just one click and the user’s computer can be exploited by the
hacker.

According to the Denver Post, the reason law firms are being targeted is
their wealth of client information. Many firms keep client’s social security
numbers or other personal information on their networks. These networks can be
accessed when an attorney logs in from home, for example, if a firm has not
taken precautions to secure the network.
